Hi. I'm trying to install RC1 and get to the 'Migrate Existing Data' bit (step 6).....

It says you need to install a 'com_migrator' component - you click to get that - and then click again and it's a DEAD LINK - No migrator  :-\

I've search the Forge, Extensions and Forums - but no sight of this convertor.

Surely this will be stumping everyone???? Anyone got any answers??? This needs fixing before too many people start trying to migrate!

Thanks

We indeed need to fix that link, not yet done (just been sleeping a lot after RC1  ;) )

Check http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/pasamioprojects/frs/ for the link to the migrator download.

Well - Something got migrated. I did end up with this error on the migration output results..... (i'm still working my way through the RC1 installer). Maybe that's not too fatal - I'll just try and carry on and see what happens....  :-\

Incorrect table name ''.jos_ .'modules' SQL=INSERT INTO `'.jos_ .'modules` VALUES (35, 'Breadcrumbs', '', 1, 'breadcrumb', 0, '0000-00-00 00:00:00', 1, 'mod_breadcrumbs', 0, 0, 1, 'moduleclass_sfx= cache=0 showHome=1 homeText=Home showComponent=1 separator= ', 1, 0, '');

Actually that is an issue with something I added at the last minute by request of Q&T because the breadcrumb module is used instead of having it in the template like it is in 1.0 - if that is all that has failed then the rest should be fine. This is fixed in trunk now thanks for catching it.
