Neither can i

once i upgradd to vb 3.5.2 with the latest patched joomla 1.0.4

admin cant log in
and users cant either yet when they ask for a password to be sent they get it
log in
and try to change thier password in user mection
yet it doesnt change.

I tried doing it from user manager as well and cant change it.
it says change is accepted, but the password remains the one sent in email on request for lost password.
including some users arent found that are listed in my user manager.

any ideas on why this is happening?
