Hi

I have downloaded Joomla and installed it locally. Have been reading various tutorials/manuals on how to use Joomla but am a bit confused about how to go about doing what i had in mind with Joomla.

Am mentioning brief details about the site i want to build and would like guidance/suggestions on how to do it with Joomla.

Brief note on the proposed site:

- It is a site about books and reading. Would have articles/reviews/reading lists on books across genres/themes.
- There are around a 1000 book titles that I want to discuss on the site.
- Each of these titles would also have an amazon affiliate link associated with them.

Now the problem

From what i could gather about Sections>Categories>Content Items, each of these 1000 book titles would constitute a single content item.

Am I correct in this or is there a simpler/different way of doing this ?

Also, would i be able to display more than one book on a single page... say as part of a reading list ... with just brief details on the page and a "read more" link ?

Would appreciate any kind of help that i can get.
