Fatal error: Class mosprofiler: Cannot inherit from undefined class jprofiler in /home/collegeb/public_html/sigmalambdabeta/tamuk/website/live/plugins/system/legacy/profiler.php on line 29


Simply enabling legacy support gives this error.

Great what a jip. now the whole site died.  excellent more time to upload yesterdays build and wipe my database.

already wiped and uploading 11-19-07 nightly

I have no problem enabling legacy support - many, many people use this. So, if you have this problem, again, provide more system information and details on legacy extensions, specifics about what happened prior to the problem, etc.

There is a template in the Joomla! v 1.5 Q&T thread that you can use as a model for information that is helpful for reporting potential problems.

It can be frustrating but there are people here who will help you. We will require more than two minutes to respond, though.  Please, slow down a bit. There was honestly no reason to delete your database and website over this.

The JProfiler-php-file was moved recently, and the developer missed an include of the file.

In the file plugins/system/legacy/profiler.php, line 19, replace

JLoader::register('JProfiler', JPATH_LIBRARIES.DS.'joomla'.DS.'utilities'.DS.'profiler.php');

with

JLoader::register('JProfiler', JPATH_LIBRARIES.DS.'joomla'.DS.'error'.DS.'profiler.php');

I understand Amy, however I have been awake now for ... 28 hours straight, and well I am now done with all my work and can go home.

A project depended upon this product as a reference for a possible expansion road, and I needed to be able to produce the work I had promised.

As the Mod stated, there was nothing short of getting the next daily tonight to fix my problem. I knew this already having read the change log and seeing for myself that they had done some re-aranging with that specific group of functions.

I saved my self some time by installing a older daily, but should have explained better why.  Nonethe less, this post did alert the right people, and served it's purpose. I will try to convey my ideas in a more constructive manner in the future.




Also,  Mad props to who ever fixed the ftp issues and installing the sample data from the installed instead of having to perform an injection and renaming the sample data.
