There appears to have been an error with the packaging script.  We are working out the kinks at the moment.

Am confirming that our package builder is not pulling latest SVN.

We are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible - apologies.

Changelog-Issue

in the files of the 1.0.6 release: CHANGELOG.PHP
in the following lines are missing:

15-Jan-2006 Rey Gigataras
  * SECURITY [ Low Level ]: Hide database password in Global Configuration
  # Fixed artf3064 : Warning: Invalid argument supplied mod_fullmenu Line 57
  # Fixed artf3063 : Poll Component Output Display Error

But, you write under http://www.joomla.org/content/view/725/66/ this text above.

So are the fixes in the 1.0.6 included and the CHANGELOG.PHP is old or was there a mistake durring release?

Update: Okay, well i see the problem. Not an actual CVS Version was published (w these Bugs above) as the Joomla 1.0.6 Release

Ah ha I noticed the beta stuff in the changelog and version information too after upgrading one site and installing a fresh install on another. I'm assuming I can just copy the new patch over these without any trouble when it's sorted out and released? Keep up the good work guys, Joomla kicks butt!

Regards,

Neil.

Ah, and I though it was just me...though I do admittedly get trigger happy whenever I see a new release on the forge. :)

The new default favicon is nice, by the way.

Yep I got very trigger happy, up to the point where I could actually see the files slowly appearing one by one on the Sourceforge! Now I'm waiting in suspense again.

Neil.

IMPORTANT
**************************
As of this time we have been forced to repackage 1.0.6 as our packaging system was not quite pulling the latest files from the Forges SVN repository.  We have removed the files from the repository.

Apologies - we are working to resolve the technical problem as soon as possible.

If you already have updated your system with the files that were available - this will not affect your system negatively, it will simply mean you will have to redo the upgrade process with the correct files when they become available

Due to technical difficulties 1.0.6 Packages are currently available only in zip format.

Same for me... : http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,30559.0.html

I must admit that I'm a little disapointed, coz I needed only couple of minutes to discover this...

It's time that all of us get involved in Q&T... Maybe some official pre-patch time would make this to work better?
