With the launch of the Developer Network site we promised you that we would be working out some IRC meetings for Joomla! developers.  This is a perfect opportunity for third party developers to ask questions, make comments and generally interact with the core developers.  We are planning on hosting the event on the FreeNode IRC #joomla channel at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 16-March.  The idea of the meeting is to talk about and answer questions on 1.1 development so that we can help you work with the new API.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

Will there be a new meeting next month or something like that?

If you read through the chat logs it may or may not have been cut off but from the reaction the devs got from chatting with us they mentioned that this could be a 2 week thing, where as every 2 weeks the devs stop by the IRC chat to answer questions and to generally talk with us.

is there a regular IRC meeting? every month? every 2weeks?

Was there a meething this month? I am eager to read up on the decision to push 1.5 beta to May and the changes to the UI... and other things of course
