I get a slight script error in IE6. Very cool look, though.

Great original design, seamless implementation of GigCalendar, decent customization of the core components...

Not to mention that, being a fan, It's exciting to see that Mogwai's on the Joomla train.  :)

hi,

nice one! perhaps removing "next >" link at the bottom of the gallery section, will ease the navigation a little. A little confusing while trying to browse the next photo in the gallery.

good job!

cheers!
clarence

I agree with this. Thought it would take me to the next photo. Great use of flash!

have had a go to remove the next link, just cant work out where it would be as I can only find content navigation in config.php settings not in article parameters or menu item parameters, any hints would be appreciated. my next best bet is to apply a custom class using the menu and then create a CSS style to remove that next link from the page

for the ie error is it something to do with an htc file error, I am having issues getting the mime type set on the server and cant do with the .htaccess file

concerning opera I am perplexed, it seems to work fine except the address http://www.mogwai.co.uk loads page badly and http://www.mogwai.co.uk/index.php loads it fine, rest of pages are all ok. seems to be something to do with addressing and cant tell if that  is a problem with SEFadvance or to do with a dns entry

I am thinking of creating a few tutorials over the next month or so about how i have made, would anyone be interested?

thanks for the positive feedback

MOD NOTE: Consolidated the two posts for clarity.

I would be interested in articles discussing integrating Flash with Joomla.

Oh, it looks like you fond how to turn off the "next" link. But just in case it is in administrator ->global configuration -> Content -> Content item navigation

for the tutorials it was more how to make template and use the extmenu and various things like that

we havent really integrated flash and joomla cms, just the template and some nice flash files.
i remember seeing one at mambo a while ago i think
instead we are pulling in pictures to the gallery using these 2 products http://www.sspadmin.com/ and http://slideshowpro.net/
and for the flash banner i am using artbanners component and it allows for custom code

also i have the bobby van der sluis UFO flash replacement technique which requires entry in the template index.php  file to include the relevant javascript for every flash movie on the site.

the same sort of javascript dom replacement technique is needed for using QT actually read up at mezzoblue.com/archives/2006/03/30/patents_v_m/

Very nice site, lots of high quality content :)

I could be getting old but I find the text a little small to read. :-[

i agree with woodywoodwoodiii that the text is a little on the small side, especially in gig calendar.

this might be a problem with mogwai's older fans... my old boss was in his 50's and went to mogwai concerts...

Great design, I like how it utilizes Joomla with looking like standard joomla.  Good example of a diversified design.

Looks quite good. Had to use IE as your site came out as text when using Opera ??? - Not sure if the problem was at my end or yours though.
