I'm running Yanc 1.4.beta3 with Joomla 1.0.8
I always used as Mail send method: mail

Always I setted:
Send mails out in blocks of: 1
Refresh after x blocks: 0
Pause x seconds before refresh: 0

and all Run.
But now I have a server limit for 1 mail per 30 seconds, so I change setting into:

Send mails out in blocks of: 1
Refresh after x blocks: 1
Pause x seconds before refresh: 30

But after first mail sent nothing happen and all is stopped !

What I wrong ?
and What I have to change to run it ?

Please, Can anyone help me 

After a lot o trials I setup as below:

Send mails out in blocks of: 1
Refresh after x blocks: 1
Pause x seconds before refresh: 20

and I tried sending 300 emails.

First problem: during sending admin login time expire and I had to refresh Manually the page

Second and most problem: to send out 300 keep 900 seconds, so 900/300= 3 seconds per email and not 20 as I setted

Do anyone have tried it and give me any suggestions

Can you tell me a bit more on your server environment? What relevant php settings are there (system -> system info)?
What's holding you back from sending out in block of more than one?

No, i'm looking more for php settings.

mm.. there really is no reason your mailing isn't send out.
Did you try changing the way messages are being send out (In the YaNC configuration..)

changing "Mail" in Yank configuration
Have I to change it also in "Mail" into Joomla Global Configuration ?

No, yanc will only 'listen' to it's own configuration.


I'm using a function called sleep to do this, don't know why your server isn't picking that up though

Hi Adam,

After a lot o trials with a small list of 3 emails 

I setup as below:

Send mails out in blocks of: 1
Refresh after x blocks: 1
Pause x seconds before refresh: 20

html and/or text same results:

mail = around 3 seconds
sendmail = around 3 seconds
smtp with authentication = around 12 seconds

Moving "Pause x seconds before refresh:" up it seem times didn't change and up to 30 the IE not refresh and complete sending only the first email ... all stop and I have to re login into joomla administration

Moving "Pause x seconds before refresh:" down it seem times didn't change, it seem that the time shown is simple "a minimum technical time" of email sending

It seem "Pause x seconds before refresh:" don't set nothing 

I tried also to add some emails to the list but nothing change and time not increase proportionally

Finally I tried to change "Refresh after x blocks:" = 2
but again nothing change ...


Please, what can be ? What can I do 
May be anything related with my IE browser  Anything to change on it 
May be anything I have to ask to my hoster about server setting
