Spanish to English

Post by romulocardier » Sat Nov 29, 2014 12:15 am

Hello!
I'm working on a client's website that has already been created in Spanish, my client wants an option where he can switch back and forth from Spanish to English. I've only managed to place the little flag next to the post, but I'm pretty lost on were to place the English content.
A little help would be appreciated ;)
Thank you!

If you want to build a multilingual site, suggest reviewing the page https://demo.joomla.org/multilingual and the demo-cum-tutorial site subsequently. You could get the cues from the site to build your own multilingual site. Even though the site is built using Joomla! 2.5, the concepts are equally good for Joomla! 3.x. In Joomla! 3.x, while installing Joomla!, there is a provision to create a skeletal multilingual web-site.

If you want automatic translations such as Google Translation, you could review the extensions at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... anslations.

The extension for Google Translation did the trick. Thank you so much!

This is not a good solution, because it is an incorrect translation
