You can also "publish/unpublish" modules in the back end.

Hmm - how is that ? I mean if you unpublish a module, then it means you remove it from the frontend, but not from the backend - right ?

you can publish modules in the back end directly. Like buttons for preview. I like to have a custom one to have the "to do list" etc Check your modules menu in the back and see. There are certain positions for modules that correspond to the administrator template.

Hi,

If (when) it got to the stage of agreement I would anticipate (hope) that the changes would be equally applied to icon labels etc for admin as well as site modules. After all we are "just" talking about the labels and not the code or functionality of the plugins.

Hi guys,

Just to take this to the next stage, there is now a proposal for a discussion regarding this important issue between the UDT and others in the not too distant future. I would be grateful if people would post any other words or phrases that are causing issues in the "inline" documentation, labelling of icons, labelling of screens etc so that we may have an inclusive and as near complete discussion as possible.
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,166103.0.html

Thanks

Andy

ps Community suggestion and discussion can and does work!! :)

Nice to see that your taking this matter to the next level Andy,
but I'm sorry to say that I don't remember any more words at this time.
This because the Norwegian translation has been "ready" for some time now, and therefore it's a long time since we was working on them - To bad we didn't take notes of the words causing problems..
