Hi,
I am Sokhem, from Cambodia. I would like to have joomla will be translated into Khmer (Official language of Cambodia).
Where can I get the file(s) for translating? Is there SVN for this?
Could you please give me the instructions on how to get template file (POT file) and to do updating the existing translations for the next release of joomla?
Thank in advance!
Sokhem

Re: want to translate joomla into Khmer
Hi, I am from Việt Nam, your neighbour .
Do you want to translate joomla 1.0.x or 1.5 version ?
For 1.0.x : use the language/english.php as your sample
For 1.5.x : use the language/en-GB/ as your example , especially in 1.5, you can use Translation Manager Component
Updating the language file : for each new version, there will be some new string added, keep watching this thread to get them
or use SVN here

Which one is better? I want to translate 1.5, and I want to use SVN. because it is easy to maintain the translations. Could you guide me more detail about this?
Thank in advance!
