Best way to: update local language files

Hi All,
I was wondering what the local translators use when updating their language files (e.g. from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1) to get your local translations up-to-date. Do you look at the overall Joomla! changelog, use the translation component, a local file difference program or still another method...?
