Hi there,

I try to use Mambo 4.5.2.3 with German, English and Russian Content.

So for, Mambelfish works.

But my problem is, that everywhere, when i enter russian letter, for example for normal menu titles or inside of mamblefish, the content is not saved in unicode or something. The result in the database is everytime ?????? ??? or something like that... everytime only this "?".

How to solve this? I think, its related to unicode, but i havent found a place in Mambo, were i can change something, so that these sign will be saved as unicode or as they are.

Any help?

Greetings

PS: The russian version of Mambo is not helpful, because the persons, which should edit content and so on, are only speaking german and english. Only one russian will do the translation for the russian version.

Hmm..I use UTF-8 for Serbian translation and both latin and cyrillic version are working just fine. Have you changed ENCODING line in your language file? When you open the page in browser take a look at it's source and tell us what stands in this part:

Code:
Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=something" />

Danke :)
