Scots language pack for Joomla 1.7

Hi,

I want to develop a Scots language pack (full) for Joomla 1.7. I have several questions though:

* Scots has no ISO 639-1 code, only the ISO 639-2 code 'sco', so would I name the pack 'sco-GB' and if so would this be acceptable to Joomla?

* I've used the com_localise component to create a new site language - once I translate all of the files using the component, will I be able to use the Scots site language as any other?

* Can I create a language pack for accreditation using the files I've translated through the com_localise component, and if so, how?

the Scots language is UTF-8 format ?

Yes, the three digit ISO 639 identifier for the language Scots would be sco.

Having said that, do you want to be a volunteer to translate Joomla! in Scots?

You could also review the extension Localise (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tion/17755) which would come handy for the translation process.
