[SOLVED] schema for fish database alterations?

is there a schema for how to reference any fish alterations to the database? i am trying to make a custom tweak so that i can show the section/category in latest news, and i'm getting there, but it doesn't switch languages. i think having a database reference would be very helpful.

ah....perhaps i don't know what i'm talking about. 

i may just have forgot to translate the categories/sections.  :-[
