Can't translate date with Mambelfish in Joomla 1.0.3

I have installed MBF v1.5 on Joomla v1.0.3, done the necessary patches. All works well except long dates which don't get translated.

I already changed the created_date and modified_date in contents elements configuration for contents to yes.

Is there someone who has an idea where to look ?
