Make sure these strings (translated....) are included in your joomfish language file

Quote:
NO TRANSLATION AVAILABLE=There are no translations available
FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE=There are no translations available
NO TRANSLATION ALTERNATIVE=There is no translation available, please select a different language.
NO TRANSLATIONS AT ALL=This content has not been translated.

see for your language file here:
../components/com_joomfish/language/english/mylanguage.com_joomfish.ini

The variable is the first part of the string, before the "="

If they are not present, just add them.
It would be a good idea to check your language ini file by comparing it with the English one and make sure all strings are present.

PS: What is the language you want translated?

Sorry, the first post was for Joomfish 1.8.2

The joomfish 2.0.beta2 ini files are installed in
administrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_joomfish.ini
and in
languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_joomfish.ini

this is where you should place your xx-XX.com_joomfish.ini files
administrator/languages/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_joomfish.ini
languages/xx-XX/xx-XX.com_joomfish.ini

xx-XX being your language and the xx-XX.com_joomfish.ini the translations you made

Currently I have English and Hungarian language files in my Joom!Fish. I find language files in here:

administrator/languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_joomfish.ini
languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_joomfish.ini

These are good for the English language file.

I create my joomfish.ini files and copy them to here:

administrator/languages/hu-HU/hu-HU.com_joomfish.ini
languages/hu-HU/hu-HU.com_joomfish.ini

The "FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE" is displayed again.

What is the problem?

Use the debug language feature in Global Configuration to figure what's going on.

Now I give this on frontpage:
Code:
??FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE??

instead of:
Code:
FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE

I use this in my hu-HU.com_joomfish.ini in this variable? Why can't display the translated string?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I don't understand why works when I put these:

Code:
FRONTPAGE_NO_TRANSLATION_AVAILABLE=Nincs elérhető fordítás

into to hu-HU.ini file.

Now it works for me, but this is not too consequent.

That isn't realy that way - for some reason these variables are duplicated in the following location:
\administrator\language\MYLANGUAGE\MYLANGUAGE.plg_joomfish_missing_translation.ini
and this is a place that Missing Translation Plugin is taking it's variables.

Would be worth to consider changing this in the future as these variables are also in both JoomFish admin and frontend files.
