Hi,
I have a website with Joomfish beta and I want to upgrade to the final version.
I am not very sure how to do it. Should I uninstall the component and install the newer one ? Or should I just copy the files in the component directory ?
Before upgrading I want to be sure to follow the right path because I have some data I don't want to lose.
Thanks.

I there is an upgrade documentation on the Joom!Fish Wiki - this includes also the information you might find helpful.

I looked already on the wiki.
The only thing visible is this :  Upgrade Guide from MambelFish to Joom!Fish
What I want to do is tu update my Joomfish beta to Joomfish final without losing the data in the database.

Sorry to not got it in first place.

Basically you can remove the Joom!Fish component. It will not delete your tables.

The installation process checks if the tables are there or not - if yes it will not create new once.
