Hi everybody ;D

I have come to point where translating joomla pages became more and more important. So I grabbed Joomfish component and started translating... Installation went without problems, setting up languages, module, flag positions and displaying default language is OK, but I didn't figure it out how to translate same content and menus into multiple languages.  In some time, I wish that some of my pages to be displayed in 5 languages. I didn't find some how-to's to this issue, all I noticed that several (multilanguage) joomla sites are using google translation for displaying pages in more that 2 languages. If possible i would prefer joomfish to google since i find it more clean and manageable.

I know that multilanguage issues are going to be greatly improved in Joomla 1.5, but I think I should look for some alternatives in the mean time. So if anyone has some experience and knowledge about my question, i would be really happy if he/she would share it.

Thanks

I just wrote an FAQ in the Joom!Fish wiki about this issue, Translation UI Second Language Help. Does that answer your question?

The problem is this link (labeled as "Translation UI Second Language Help"):

http://forge.joomla.org/sf/wiki/do/view ... nguageHelp

is not accessible anymore :)

Why don't you download the user guide from joomfish.net?

The Joom!Fish wiki moved, so that FAQ is now here: Translation UI Second Language Help.
