Hi there,

My Joomfish translations were working for months, then suddenly the publish buttons
stopped working. I click them, but the X status won't change (although the items
show up translated in the frontend).

Maybe this has to do with folder write access permissions in some of Joomfish file
or folder?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Ivo,

it's Joomfish 1.7 and Joomla 1.0.12 Stable [ Sunfire [eCommerce Edition].

Everything was working before... The only things I remember I have done
recently were: changing some of the folders/file permissions to 755 (they
were 777 before) and running table optimize actions with myPHPAdmin.

All products are showing translated in the frontend, but for some reason,
I can not publish/unpublish them (the button status remains the same).

Checking directly in the mysql table, they're perfectly activated there.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

do you think I will lose some data/translations if I do so?
I'm afraid of upgrading and wrecking the whole site,
as I have many hacks and mods (none of them in Jfish though).

Thanks...

Well, make a backup and then try upgrading (especially the content element files). Usually if there are no hacks to Joom!Fish everything should go without loosing any data.
