Mambelfish frontend problem

Post by klados » Fri Sep 23, 2005 6:32 am

Hi all,

I cannot edit Mambelfish translations from frontend side. Everytime I do that the translation turns to be the same text as original. Do I have some problems with my setup or is this a problemm with the component? Can something be done?

if you use Joomla! you will have to wait for te next releae of Mambelfish...it has a problem with Joomla. However my understanding is that it will be fixed soon...

I found that when you added content in the non-default language via the front end that it would get overwritten when you "translate" back into the default language.  Some changes I made to my setup of mambelfish deal with this, see:

http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... l#msg61659

Make sure you test them thoroughly on a test server before using them in a production environment.
