Problem with menu

Im trying to make the menu display like this:
Menuitem1 | Menuitem2 | Menuitem3
And would like to have subcatagorys like this, if someone click Menuitem1 then a submenu would apear that have content realeted to Menuitem1. So if someone would click on Menuitem1 the menu would look like this:
Menuitem1 | Menuitem2 | Menuitem3
subitem1 | subitem2 | subitem3

Anyone know how i can make this happend?

do a search on the board for "section menu"
