Hello,

I have a problem with moving a joomla site/database to another server.

The thing I have done is:
1. installing a fresh joomla on the new server, then downloading the configuration.php.
2. Delete all the files again.
3. uploading the bakup file on the new server and unpack.
4. import the database on the new server.

Is there anything I have forgot that gives me problems with the site.?

The problem is that the content is visable (so my conclusion is that the database is found and working). But the template is not shown. (so a white page with static left sided text).

See www.wezenlijkcontact.nl

Can someone help me.?

Many thanks

Must be because you never copied the template files from the old server, or? Which templates can you see available in backend?

I reccommend using JoomlaPack next time you move your Joomla! site ... it's dead easy, and works for me each and every time. All you do is making a zip file with the extension, uploading the zip file to your new location and follows the instructions.

It looks like some of the files that you have uploaded to the new server have the wrong permissions or owner set on them. For instance trying to load these 2 files gives a 403 Forbidden Error:

The templates index.php (/templates/balance/index.php) file seems to be loading properly, so maybe compare the file permissions and owner to see what the difference is.

Thank you all...!

It's working again. It was indeed the permissions.
Sometimes you look for a long time and it's just a small thing.

Thank you,
