Hi guys just a few questions

I would like to know how to use the Joomla session to other external php pages?
Ie like under the jos_users table?
I would like to pull out the username and the password in order to pass it to external php page..

here's the set up

http://localhost/joomla/

http://localhost/joomla/externalpage.php

Hi,

I would suggest you look into integrating your php file into joomla. (e.g. writing a component, or using extensions like Jumi)
