｢作成」｢最終更新｣が文字化けしているので困っています。　

Joomla1.0　を使っています。
「Blog-コンテンツカテゴリー」を使い、作成日時もでるよう設定し、記事を作成しました。いざ
公開してみると、作成日時、更新日の数字以外の部分が四角く文字化けを起こしてしまいました。

バックエンドをみてみると、編集画面の右にある「公開情報」下の｢作成」「最終更新」の記述だけが、
やはり同じように四角く文字化けを起こしていました。（他は問題なく表示されています。）

解決方法をさがしています。ご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら、ご教示ください。
