Many people are keen to have their site validate to W3 standards.  This is excellent.

Most people rely on the W3 validation tools.  This is not so good.  That tool will actually validate pages that aren't actually compliant with the claimed standard.  Irritating, but...

That tool is really strict and won't let you slide anywhere.
