It looks like joomlahacks is down.  I hope it's temporary.  :(

Would anyone happen to have a copy of the latest version of Joomla-SMF that they could send me?

wkrick@gmail.com

You can also upload a copy somewhere and post a link.

I'm in the same boat, if you happen to find a place to download it, please pm me, or post it.

Here is version 2.0.2.1 that I downloaded as of 8/3/07.  I had to recompress this as 7zip archive to get under the 100kb attachment limit on this forum.  So you will have to unarchive, and then zip back as regular zip archive prior to uploading as a component.

Is there a more recent version than this one? I read somewhere there was a new version that works with Joomla 1.0.13 - I think I'm going to wait until joomlahacks is back online though in case its a problem with their own bridge thats causing their site to be down!

2.0.2.1 is the most recent with patches to deal with Joomla 1.0.13.  Version 2.0.2 was the last version up until that (for 1.0.12 only).  The only difference between the two was to deal with the new password hash issue in Joomla 1.0.13.  It is the one I am using on my installs for 1.0.13 and I haven't had any issues to date.  Your mileage may vary....

excellent - thanks for the info  :) Is it just a case of uninstalling the old bridge and installing the new one as usual?

Yep, you just have to make sure you go to the JSMF component and unpatch the SMF and Joomla files first.  Then go to the component Joomla uninstall process.  Then install the new version.  There was another quick patch file to go from 2.0.2 to 2.0.2.1 (two files I think) so you didn't have to uninstall the component but could just FTP upload the two changed files.  But I do not have that mini-patch file, just the full install.  If you are not in a rush, that may be the way to go when the web site comes back up.

Excellent.  Thank you kindly.

Was there any documentation or readme files bundled with the original download?

On a related note, I have the 2.0 user's guide if anyone wants it...

Does anyone have the CB Login plugin for JSMF? I just upgraded Community Builder and can't find my original download of it.

Much appreciated,
Jon.

Joomlahacks looks to be down because of DNS servers being off line.
Both ns1.joomlanet.com and ns2.joomlanet.com don't respond. :-[

Yea, I did the NSlookup test today and redoubled my efforts to find the plugin. I was successful (other laptop!) and have the file should anyone want it - just use the contact form on my site.

I didn't know there was a new release of com_smf but the version I have is 2.0.2 so these are the modules and plugins for that version. They may work as well with 2.0.2.1.

UPDATE: I should mention that I'm running Joomla! 1.0.12

You should be able to just do a file compare and replace the changed files.
Only a few files were changed.

Does this work with CB 1.1?

Joomlahacks.com is down (again). >:( For help on JSMF matters go to one of these sites:
http://locutusweb.asw15.org/index.php/board,3.0.html
or
http://www.joomlabridge.org

Both have all downloads and a forum available.
