Hi,

We have a disabled users site and we are thinking of adding a section where people can set up a page where they can be sponsored for an event, e.g. running a marathon or parachute jumping or whatever.

Others would come to the site and pledge money for the person to do the event.

Has anyone done this kind of thing or can anyone suggest any extensions which might help?

My best suggestion would be using eventlist. people can register for events using it. But you could modify it, so that people who say they are attending, are sponsoring the event taking place. I hope that make sense. A link is below.
