I'm sorry I've been away for a while from my PC, but I'll be getting back in 2-3 days, and it would be my pleasure to do some stuffs for my favorite project.

I am glad some one responded other wise I was thinking am I working on a project that *someone* is actually interested in!!!????

I was thinking may be I am spending my time and money on a wrong project. Which might still be right as one answer does not prove that I am not but atleast, some one is readin!!!

I am so proud to announce that IndicJoomla will be distributed with TinyMCE plugin that makes it easy to type in Hindi/Devanagari. I believe this is the first online Hindi/Devanagari WYSIWYG.

To be able to see it in action, register at indicjoomla.org.

Login

And click on submit news....and then in the WYSIWYG tools, look for "H"

Sry abt being missing but my sis got married in Bangalore on the 4th of Dec and life has been kinda hectic.

Will take it for a test drive later today.

The TinyMCE hindi editor is an awesome addition, should be a very handy tool.

Am forwarding links to the site to most of my contacts and will have some news soon.

Im tryng to install Indicjoomla but the hindi font is not appearing correctly. Do i need to configure my template to make this stuff work? Please Help! Great Work!

This is the sreen shot..

You need to set the encoding to UTF-8 on your Browser.

View->Character Encoding -> Unicode(UTF-8) on Firefox
View->Encoding -> Unicode(UTF-8) on Internet Explorer

This would solve your problem on your machine.
To solve it for others, you need to edit the index.php of the template you use.
At the top of the index.php, you would see something like:

echo '';
?>
.................

Change them to:

echo '';

.............

It'd be ok then.
