Indic Transliteration Plugin for TinyMCE editor
Hi,
I have Indic Write module with pramukh library installed on Joomla 2.5.4
What I would like to do is to have the Indic Language selector on the TinyMCE editor toolbar. I followed the instructions as per this thread -> http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=162&t=339766 but it is not working. I place the indicime in the custom plugin section but that breaks tinymce totally on the backend and on the frontend it remains unchanged.
Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks

Re: Indic Transliteration Plugin for TinyMCE editor
Ronak,
Thanks for the link, I have already tried the TinyMCE version of it and it does not work on either 1.7 or 2.5
I looked at JCE but the newest version (2.x) is different and we don't have the option to add a plugin manually, just through a package file or through a folder. I tried to add the zip package for TinyMCE install from www.vishalon.net as a plugin to JCE but it errors out. I am not sure if the older version of JCE will work with Joomla 2.5 but I will check it out and see how that part goes.
So basically for the time being no luck.

To update you on the topic, I tried installing JCE 157 on Joomla 2.5.3 but it ended up with a fatal error so no go there as well.

Re: Hindi Language help needed?
Are you sure TinyMCE editor is enabled in global configuration? I personally have tested on Joomla 2.5.

Yes, it works with Joomla 2.5.3 too. Did you also select 'Extended' option for Functionality?
