Mehra sir ji

Tusee Great ho sir ji. I had started this translation 3 years ago but never finished. I am happy to see the translation now.
Would you like to add this translation to the IndicJoomla project? If yes, let me know.

NaaEtheLangerLagiya.com (mentioned earlier in this post), seems to be unavailable. Is there a typo mistake in this address? I would like to download the existing Punjabi font pack asap. If there's anything still uncompleted, let me know and I'll see if I can do something about it.

Thanks

Hi,

I was wondering if there has been any progress with completing the punjabi language for joomla? I have searched all over the internet and have not been able to find anything. Also do you know where I could find a hindi langauge for joomla for the front end?

Thanks

These are 1.0.x files.

I remind you folks that we will cease supporting Joomla 1.0.x this month.
Would really be good if some of you volunteered to make 1.5 language files for Punjabi.

Anybody volunteering to propose language 1.5 packs for Punjabi, please read here and contact me by pm.

http://community.joomla.org/translations.html

Installing last 1.5.14 Joomla and using the Translation Manager is a good start.

It is also good to read here:

I have been watching this post since long I turned myself into Open Source Web Development. Punjabi Language needs to spread all over. I have seen work of Mehra Media. They have worked well with Punjabi Language Pack for Joomla 1.5.

But, the bad attitude about this project they showed is not to release it publicly as GPL indicates to release your contribution openly.

Mehra Media is willing to have projects of Punjabi Language, but not willing to distribute or not even sell the Punjabi Language Pack. All they want is money, selling their mother tong work!...

However, If they'll not contribute such a great work in Joomla Community, someone surely will.

With Best Regards,
Satinderjit Singh.

Wow! so many OKs!...

"now Joomla 1.5 is not need Punjabi language."

Well, it's fine if you are providing your services in Punjabi Language. Great efforts.
Joomla 1.5 don't need Punjabi Language Pack?? Wrong, it needs a Language pack. Then what the heck a Hindi Language Pack doing with Joomla here?? We may leave the backend Language Pack, but at least user experience (Frontend) should be in Punjabi. That needs various frontend language files to be translated into Punjabi Language.

About my Hard work, you still don't have idea. Neither I would like to say it here. I speak through my work.

"All is not free work hard Man"

Nobody is lazy here dude!... You are not the only one who is doing hard work!.... :)

Best of luck!

Guys, this is my last warning. No personal contact info or any type of advertisements are allowed in this forum. I have altered some last posts.

Joomla needs Punjabi pack. At least front-end pack.

@mehramedia it would be good if you share it with Joomla community under GPL license. You will get full credit.

@satindergrewal if you are willing to contribute in Punjabi pack then let me know.
