Thanks for all the discussion on this topic.  I'm going to close down this particular thread because of it's broad nature.  Given that 1.5 is soon to be released I would ask that our resident experts in the field review the features we have in place and make targeted suggestions for new features and/or improvements based on the work done to date.  Such suggestions should look at SEO metrics that are global in nature to a site on the one hand, and that would be specific to a particular page on the other.

Also don't be afraid to make suggestions if you know the principle involved, or you know what output you'd like, but have no idea how the code would produce the result.  Defining the problem is half the battle won - from there we can work out what lines of code to put in to make it happen
