Thanks, I solved this problem by changing the permissions to 777 of the cache directory at the root of joomla

I had this problem:
After saving any change in my joomla, i had this message:
Delete failed: index.html
Delete failed: index.html
Delete failed: index.html
Delete failed: index.html

So, what i did was to change all permissions folder in Cache to -->777

Now it´s working perfectly.

As posted above, the key to the error is the cache folder. In another forum string, I found this suggestion, and it worked for me. Just changing permissions did not work for me. I had the problem after moving my site, so I had to recreate the cache directory before the site could write to it in the new location.

SOLUTION:
Delete and re-create the cache directory. Go to your webfiles via your web hosting (or on your server). In the main level of your webfiles (same level as your configuration.php page), there is a directory named cache. Delete that directory, then make a new directory and name it cache. Depending on your hosting, you can leave the permission of the new cache directory at 755. But, if you delete and re-create the directory and you still get the error, change the permissions to 775.
