I just updated a Joomla! 1.514 website to 1.5.15 and got internal server errors 500 now...

Hi basboerman,

Which steps did you do in your update?
Just overwrote files with new?
Or maybe touched your .htaccess too to get latest update for that file, and perhaps had uncommented # Options +FollowSymLinks when using earlier version and now that line was reset to standard?

I drag & dropped the update files throu FTP. Using the new htacces now. I'm having same problems if i use 1.5.14 htaccess. Turned sef off for now and everything seems to work...

I've checked the site. SEF is on, but I do not see any problems...

Did you solve it?
What was the problem? How did you solve it?

Hi,
I have maybe the same problem.
I upgraded two websites from 1.5.14 to 1.5.15 (i stop here at this moment and try to fix the problem).
When SEF System Plugin is activated, i have the classical error "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6948121 bytes) in /home/www/www.billet-invest.fr/web/plugins/system/sef.php on line 69". And the problem is not the memory.
Of course, none problem before upgrade. I unpublish sef plugin, of course no more error but in this case a problem for all images. The website is with this last configuration. And no way to activate again SEF plugin whitout the error. http://www.billet-invest.fr/

Had you made changes to .htaccess that might have been overwritten in the upgrate?

Hi,
I continue investigation.
I try on other websites on different server, i have the same problem. The error is only due to change on SEF.php file from SEF Plugin. And each time i do htaccess upgrade but error is already here.

So i upgrade to 1.5.15 but i don't upgrade SEF.php file, it's work.

Do you have some idea ? Many thanks for your help.
