com_contact + unregistered = bad token

Post by Sergejack » Thu Jan 14, 2010 10:21 am

Hi.

I ran into a bug.
When a non connected user (a visitor so to speak) tries to send a message through the contact component, he gets a "Invalid Token" message.
It seems that the token get recomputed each and every time for anonymous users even before a matching comparaison is made (for anti-spam security purpose).

I had the problem with Joomla! 1.5.0 but I still do now that I upgraded it to 1.5.15.

Regards,

Serge.

Do you have system cache enabled?

I do and I'm sure it's that. It only appears to do it for the default view where I am linking directly to a contacted called 'General Enquiries'. If you select any contact from the drop-down selection tool, even the 'General Enquiries' contact then it's fine.

I'm wondering if it's because I've got a cache lifetime of 60 minutes but a session lifetime of 30 minutes or perhaps that's got nothing to do with it?
