The problem is descibed over here, viewtopic.php?f=431&t=290191&p=1315603#p1290605

Small description from my side,

When using the banned text function with the contact form any text (and yes i mean all text) submitted gives an message like Your e-mail contains banned text.

I tried every option, seperating words with ; , - or just an space, nothing works.

Could you provide the EXACT filter params you put in the backend?

Well i receive a lot of Viagra mails (why do they think i need them... last time i checked it all worked fine and that isn't more than 5 days ago ;) ) so i filled in the text below

Code:
viagra;sex;porn;

My site is dutch and those words aren't dutch. But even when i submit "hallo Reind hier" (dutch for, Hello Reind here) it rejects the form and says that i placed banned text in the message.

Doesn't help either, just tried (also tried before) and it just rejects the e-mail and the worst thing is that when i fill in an email adress that is sending me spam like cogmyproto@mymail-in.net it doesnt block the message but it just sends it...

It's an pain in the *** because in half an hour of time i received more than 50 spam mails from the same sender.

Try replacing the existing controller (/components/com_contact/controller.php) with this one (unzip first)...
I made some changes in there which SHOULD take care of it, but try it to be sure...

Nope it stil doesn't work. When filling in some banned text in the backend it always gives the message "your e-mail contains banned text" at the frontend when sending an e-mail.
