Joomla Editor, utf-8 Characters and Firefox 6+

I have following problem:

With Firefox 6+, last tested with Firefox 7.0.1 MS-Windows, the TinyMce Editor is completely "gone". i.e. the text is shown as text with the html formatting tags. Toggle Editor doesn't work. Reported to me is also the loss of utf-8 characters in Editor- and Textfields. e.g. the german ä ö ü ß.

Can someone confirm the Problem?

Tested with Joomla 1.5.23 content and other extensions. With IE as browser it works.

With Joomla 1.7 and FF 6+ all works as expected.
