File download problem

Please patulong naman kung sino man ang expert sa joomla! I tried to upload a 32MB file to my website through Media Manager. I've set the upload limit to 100MB. It started uploading but when the progress bar reaches the end and says 'upload completed', it also gives me this error message 'An Error Occurred: This file is too large to upload'.

So I used an FTP app to upload the file. Created an article and linked this file for download. Now here's the problem -
On Firefox and Chrome, I was able to download the file but the size is no longer 32MB but became 2.4KB
On Explorer, it gave me this error - the requested site is either unavailable or can't be found

Can anybody tell me what's wrong? This is my first try on joomla. Thank you.

Make sure file path is correct, can guess the issue on having website URL.

File path is correct. Ganito ang setup ng site...
upload ko important files via FTP tapos link ko files sa article via joomla
then login ang client ko to download the files

What's your php.ini says? Nakalagay dun yung maximum file size ng server on uploading a file.
