Re: PhpBB posts on the frontpage from joomla
i am trying this mod but get the following error...
Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /home/.waffle/freqx/rockindiependiente.com/modules/mod_lasttopics_phpBB2.php on line 40
Cannot make a connection to the host!
i have tried all my settings and still can't get it to connect. I am able to connect to my database through phpMyAdmin so my username and password are correct, what else could it be?

Use the module installer for it. (in the joomla backend)
Select the zip and click install.

as this topic is for j1.0 then it is considered dead and buried after 5 years, please contact the phpbb community for such an outdated extension or search for the latest j3 version in the j3 forumsSympliG0th wrote:Dragging this up again but is there one for phpBB3?
