Okay so I am using the CBConnector and phpbb3 combination to have a forum for my website. I have the forum in a wrapper and it all works great except for external links! For example, if someone links to "www.google.com", it will load the google page inside the iframe which looks very bad! Does anyone know how I can make it so that ONLY external links will open in a new window/tab.

Very Interesting idea! By default with the IFRAME they will open in the IFRAME also... but I am in the process of adjusting the CBC Wrapper to dynamically modify other links so this kind of fits in where I am focusing at the moment...

I will see if I can add this feature into the CBC Wrapper.

That's great, thanks for your reply!

This, along with the address in the address bar not changing - but I remember reading that you were looking into this, is the only problems I have with CBconnector - everything else works great.

I'm fairly sure there's a way to code links in the forum so that ones with your site as the suffix will open in the same page and ones with a different suffix will open in a new window/tab. But I'm still learning php and I'm not sure how you could code such a thing.

There is also the issue of when people use a shortcut to click which opens in new tab by default. I'm one of these people and I click the scroll button on the mouse to open a link in a new tab and, when I do this in the wrapper, the new tab will contain just the forum and the joomla content will be gone. But this isn't quite as important as the other one as it doesn't disrupt anything quite as much.
