Seeking phpBB Joomla bridge and other help

I have a phpBB forum I would like to integrate it into my website, http://www.pcfastlane.com

In addition, I would like to make it so that the left column on my website disappears when the forum is loaded. That way, I can have more room for my forum.

I know I saw an extension for this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it!
