Does anyone have any info on the com_forum hack making the rounds?

You can also view the hackers discussing it in their forum - you can use use a fake email address to create an account and log in.

Is this vulnerability only related to com_forum, and not PhpBB? Is it only a bad server setting?  Any info would be appreciated.
