May I know who's interested in getting the shirt so I can ask for estimates?

Calling out those who replied to this thread. I will facilitate this if we get a good number and draft a plan on how to facilitate the payment.

I don't have the resources to make printing the shirts happen but I'm willing to do leg work. I don't plan to profit either, so I'll put whatever the printers quote here as soon as I get the number of interested people. I'm guessing it'll be around PHP400 - PHP600.

I plan to have the t-shirt printed sa "The T-Shirt Project" shops/stalls which I often pass by in SM Megamall.



For local production of the shirt, and as far as numbers is concerned, the interested people are:

2. ericb (payable after payday  laugh)

I would suggest that those who will go there to support the conference and support Joomla! get the official shirt? It's a good way to provide "financial support" for the CMS and to show and come together as a group.

If getting the official shirt is expensive to other members, somebody here could probably facilitate a local production and earn a little for it - of course, a portion of the income should go the community for support.

Local production? or we just let everyone order one from the shop? I'm all for getting it right out of the shop.

But I'll check how much it will cost just in case our community decides to get the shirt locally.

I'm going for the official Joomla! logo. I believe that logo has violated the brand manual which was last updated 10/02/05

heck the shirts costs 750Pesos (almost 4 case of Redhorse) anyways... i will still try to have one. can we order after payday?

hopefully meron sa mga ka Joomla natin may experience or may contact sa mga
gumagawa ng T-shirt  meron sana ako alam na gumagawa kaso nagsara na
yun shop. Ang alam ko marami sa area ng Recto or Marikina pero mas maganda
kong meron na naka try mag pa custom & kabisado yun exact na place para sure
tayo sa quality ng t-shirt & copyright lol magulat tayo isang araw kasama na
ng DVD may t-shirt na ng Joomla sa bangketa  anyways oks parin  kasi FOSS advocacy
lol thanks to piracy

@G, kindly amend the deadline to be on March 1, 2007 as that would be payday. So we can also have the shirt money in by Saturday morning or Monday and have it printed on or before Monday. I'll be dropping by the t-shirt printer's stall tomorrow to get a quote.

Pare, parang violation ng brand manual ang logo ng joomla.org.ph, even the typeface, it's using a serif type while the brand manual clearly indicated the use of sans-serif typefaces like Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica.

I know that this has been voted upon by the community, but I strongly feel that the logo reached its obsolence before it has hit primetime as more of the overall guiding documents for the entire Joomla! community has been published.

yes that has been greatly in consideration.
please take note na papalitan yung type face ng logo and the logo is bearing joomla.org.ph
the logo of joomla.org.ph is local community and there is no intention to replace the joomla logo.
it is a SUPPLETORY means(towards the main organization) in which to identify a joomla.org.ph as a Joomla Partner organization or a community of Filipino Joomla community members.

jdam is voting that we use the joomla.org.ph logo, thats what hes trying to say. which on my understanding just like the TUX(the penguin) logo of linux, other flavors/distro of linux has their own logo or branding; but in the end its still TUX that distro uses to identify that they are a distro of linux.
