A really small component that shows a small todo list. I am using it nonetheless. The components works, but needs two additions. In the files admin.todo.php and toolbar.todo.php, the following line needs to be added to make it work without warnings:
Code:
$act = mosGetParam( $_REQUEST, 'act', '' );

The act params has been fully removed in Joomla! 1.1, it has been deprecated for quite some time in Mambo also. I'll ask S&G to provide information about this possible breakage on the wiki.

Can you provide a link to this component?  I've been looking for this...

I'm looking for a easy solution to the following scenario:
admin attempting to arrange a party
Admin create to do list: bring 2 bottles of beer, setup chairs, etc.
Users see the to do list and volunteer for one of the items - removing it or adding name next to it etc.

any news on the development of something like this.  I really think there should be a need for a more advanced admin groupware project.  I mean, what do people do with websites that have multiple people working together?  Do we really need to setup an entire 'nother interface and/or joomla install with a separate db/userbase, etc??  I can't seem to find anything out there to suffice this need.  Any ideas?
