To replicate:

Change name of language folder>>>enter system info page>>>error

JFolder::folder: Path is not a folder /home/abc/abc/abc/language

The error doesn't appear if I change name of images folder. I didn't test with other folders.

Suggestion: A message saying couldn't find language folder can be shown instead of the error.

By changing name of language folder, do you mean you're moving the language folder?  Why would one do this?

Someone can delete or rename or move one of the folders. So there must be a warning about this.

Do you have a suggested fix? Do you have a screenshot of what happens when one of the folders ( I'm assuming you mean J/administrator/language/ ) ?

I am talking about languages folder that is in the root folder. can you try to replicate? System info page tries to check folder permissions. And if there is no folder like -for example- languages it throws an error. But instead of the error there must be a message teling pls check the folders if they exist.

We generally call removing important system files and directories "User Error". We can't protect people against themselves.

This doesn't seem to be a problem - the system responds appropriately.  Please see the screenshot.

Moving to Resolved.
