I have tried to upload some rockettheme templates and joomlaxplorer.  In every instance, I get the following error:

WARNFS_ERR02

Below is my config:

Quote:
Operating System:  Linux DedicatedServer.domain.net 2.6.10-1.771_FC2smp #1 SMP Mon Mar 28 01:10:51 EST 2005 i686
Database Version (MySQL): 3.23.58
PHP Version: 4.3.11
Webserver: Apache/2.0.51 (Fedora)
WebServer - PHP Interface: apache2handler
Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.0 Beta (released today)
Browser Version: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7
Important PHP Settings:
Safe Mode: Off
Open basedir: /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs:/tmp
PHP Errors: Off
Short Open Tags: On
File Uploads: On
Magic Quotes: Off
Register Globals: Off
Output Buffer: Off
Session Savepath: /var/lib/php/session
Session auto start: 0
XML enabled: Yes
ZLIB enabled: Yes
Non enabled functions: none
WYSIWYG Editor: No WYSIWYG Editor

Any ideas?

UPDATE/SOLVED: My problem was with write permissions not being set in the Components directory.  I was able to install JoomlaXplorer 1.5, and while I received an error, it still installed properly.

5468 - Legacy mode on in Server tab config.

No problem installing a template here.

Concerning JoomlaExplorer (1.5.0), although I have a lot of warnings, it does install too but does not work really as it is not yet optimized/updated to 1.5

I tried to install joomlaXplorer 1.5 but nothing happened. It looked as though it installed but it didn't appear in the Components list. I am also unable to make the Configuration unwriteable. It always stays green writeable.

I do have legacy mode enabled, but I cannot upload anything.  What version of joomlaXplorer are you running?  I see that 1.5 is no longer on the forge.

Oh, one more important thing.  I have FTP turned off.  I will try turning it on, to see if that makes it possible for me to upload components.

Any idea what this error message means?

I have Legacy Mode enabled, and on trying to upload an old template, I get this error:

* WARNFS_ERR02

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/sabaton/public_html/tmp/schizope_dark-simpleportal.zip) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/sabaton/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 411

Furthermore, on trying to install jommlaXplorer, I get more errors:

WARNFS_ERR02

Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/sabaton/public_html/tmp/com_joomlaxplorer_1.5.0.tar.gz) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/sabaton/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 411

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpKwecnW' to '/home/sabaton/public_html/tmp/com_joomlaxplorer_1.5.0.tar.gz' in /home/sabaton/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 411

Warning: gzread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/sabaton/public_html/libraries/pear/File/Archive/Reader/Gzip.php on line 138

Warning: gzclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/sabaton/public_html/libraries/pear/File/Archive/Reader/Gzip.php on line 53

Is is server-side or has to do with 1.5 related bugs?

I CHMODded the tmp dir to 777, I don't get any errors now, but neither can I find the installed components or templates by navigating the Template Manager or Components menus...

I tested installing Joomap, which  installed after enabling Legacy, but wouldn't display anything on frontend.. but install worked.
