An old gallery updated:

MGM Joomla! Gallery Manager v0.96

MGM Joomla! Gallery Manager v0.96 is a compatibility and rebranding update release for Joomla! 1.0 that should work with *ambo 4.5.2 and as such, should clear the path for users of MGM 0.95 to upgrade their CMS. As always, make backups before installing any new software. For additional info, please see this page in the Joomla! forum: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,13060.0.html

First Child (listed under Content Management) is on JoomlaForge now, so you can replace the link to MamboForge with:

http://forge.joomla.org/sf/sfmain/do/vi ... irst_child

Also, you can remove the reference to "Jul 2005" (it was updated in October)

The old list had a few of these on, when I came back to grab and install one it was gone, so I'll contribute back and give you the URL which google pulled up for me.

Thanks again

guillam,

I ave noticed a few errors in the list.
Under content management
Both kl_php and kl_rssfeed have wrong URL's in the Download and Mambo Forums, categories

Both should have forum.mamboserver.com before their URL's, Though the tutorials and home links are OK,

Also, It may be noted that mod_header_image under the images category has moved to JoomlaForge as of  2006-01-04
and their new link is http://developer.joomla.org/sf/projects/mod_header_image

Cheers
Romit

Joomlawebber

I have noticed that the kl_php download link have the same error as before,

and also the documentation link is not working for mod_header_image as
they have shifted to joomlaforge and the documentation has been shifted to their Wiki
the link is
http://developer.joomla.org/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.mod_header_image/wiki/HomePage

and also in the previous module DiaImage under images there seems to be some problem with the link for the Joomla forum.

Pressure is a state of mind IMHO. Just like many others, we just like to help others. For me, it is the fun of helping people.

Hi,

I'd like to add the content bot "TitleLink".

It helps linking to site internal articles as well as to external links. Site internal links are created only by the article or menu title by use of a simple syntax. TitleLink also helps creating google/yahoo and wikipedia search links. The current version 1.7 may be used in the index.php of the site template only by adding a little helper function.

hi

thanks for the very useful collection of Joomla-resources!

Are there any plans to publish an official software map? Integrated in joomla.org and searchable / filterable. And a form to submit new ressources or correct/update already listed stuff.

I think this would be even better than a forum-thread.

By the way: here's another CMM file repository: http://www.onestopjoomla.com/.
And http://www.joomlaya.com/ seems to be (temporary?) offline.

cheers

Hi all! The name is Tudor.

Moderator, please include my site as a tutorial and download resource. I have a few howtos for now, but i'll also add some extension downloads in the near future. Thanks.

I started a joomla teaching website in January.
I'll be glad to receive tips and tutorials from Joomla enthusiasts.

I just finished working on a related items/meta keyword generator mambot which determines word-roots in order to get a more accurate result
The problem is that I use mysql subselects, as wordroots are stored in database tables. So, you need MySql server version >=4.1

Please check my signature link and contact me if you want to test the mambot.

Features:

meta keyword  and description generator based on word-roots
related items display inline with content. related items determined by using word-roots
some accented characters conversion (for non-english websites)

The code needs some refining, and may set a start for fuzzy word-root search mambot, as all the wordroots in content get stored in database tables. This should speed up searches, too.

I'll post a working version these days. Also I'd like to thank Vince Wooll for giving me a good start on this. The code doesn't much resemble his original version, but it's from him that I got the idea.

I look forward to joomlers feedback. Please excuse my poor English.

Hello Guilliam
Yes, she did, and added a "Thanks for asking" to her approval
Additionally, I clarified this issue with you using private messages. This was happening in December 05.
I'll insert a link to joomla faq in maximum 2 days.
Is this ok?

Hi!
jazzpt(Anna) granted me permission to publish her tips on my website.
Does this violate your copyright rules?
Please let me know. I will fully credit the source when publishing.
Thanks for your time

sir/mam:

i for my self holds no legal rights over ms anna's contribution. in my humble opinion it is all up between you and anna callaghan. HOWEVER, being on the joomla official documentation team we will appreciate the credits be given as well that it was first publicly published under the banner of mambo afterwards joomla.
