Maguindanaon - mostly from North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Maguindanao provinces.

Meranao - mostly from the two Lanao provinces (Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte).

Iranon - also known as Ilanun, mostly from Southern Mindanao Region.

Yakan - mostly from the Province of Basilan.

Samal - principally from the Sulu Archipelago.

Kalagan - mostly from Davao.

Kalibugan

Molbog - also known as Melebugnon. mostly from southern Palawan

Sangil - also known as Sangirs, mostly from Southern Mindanao Region.

Palawani - principally from Palawan.

Jama Mapun - mostly from the tiny Cagayan Islands.

Badjao - principally from the Sulu Archipelago.
