Hello,

I am running Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode. I recently installed sh404sef with success; however, and this might be a coincidence, my "force SSL" on entire site, is not working properly.

When I type http://www.surefirehire.com, I am not redirected to the https://www.surefirehire.com site; furthermore, I get a 404 error on the component which is set as the home.

Any help is appreciated.

I put a workaround in place. To resolve, I added this code to index.php in the active template directory.

//added to direct to ssl site
if ( $_SERVER["HTTPS"] != "on" ) {
$newurl = "https://".$_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"] . $_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"];
header("Location: $newurl");
exit();
}

will not produce the required results in this case..
