Hi i am using joomla 1.0
In the administrator section i keep seeing

Following PHP Server Settings are not optimal for Security and it is recommended to change them:

PHP register_globals setting is `ON` instead of `OFF`

I contacted my hosting company but they could not fix this. How can i fix this

If you are on a shared server this is not possible. Becuase there is a common PHP ini.
You need to get your own dedicated PHP ini instance to get rid of this message. But no harm done keeping it there. Just ignore it.
